Traffic arbitrage means buying visitors cheaply on one platform and earning more from them somewhere else — ad revenue, affiliate commissions, leads or calls. The whole game is the gap between what a click costs and what it earns. Below are 32 of the cheapest traffic sources still active in 2026, grouped by type, with an honest note on quality and the rules that get beginners banned.
New to the vocabulary (CPC, CPM, RSOC, native, push)? Read our glossary of new-age digital marketing terms and methods first — it explains search arbitrage, programmatic buying and intent-based marketing in plain language.
How to read this list
Ad prices move every week with season, country and competition, so we don't print fixed CPC numbers that go stale. Each network instead gets three quick labels:
| Label | What it means |
|---|---|
| Cost | Relative price per click or per 1,000 views compared with other networks in the list. "Very low" usually means Tier-3 countries and mobile. |
| Quality | How likely visitors are real, attentive humans who scroll, read and click. Cheap and high-quality rarely go together. |
| Best for | The offer or monetization type that usually fits that traffic. |
1. Native ad networks — low CPC, high volume
Native ads look like "recommended stories" under news articles. They're the backbone of content arbitrage because users click out of curiosity, and the click lands on an article — not a hard sales page.
Taboola
The largest native network; also powers Yahoo's native placements since 2023. Strict creative review.
Teads (formerly Outbrain)
Outbrain bought Teads in 2025 and now runs under the Teads name. Premium news publishers, tight policies.
MGID
One of the cheapest native options worldwide, with strong reach in India, SE Asia and Eastern Europe.
Revcontent
Smaller US-focused native network with more forgiving approvals than the big two.
Content.ad
Low minimums and simple self-serve setup — a good first native network to learn on.
Why native works: the ad blends into the page, so people click without "ad blindness" — but the landing article must deliver what the headline promises or the network will pause you. See real examples of how Indian brands built that kind of content in our digital marketing case studies.
2. Search & display PPC — intent-based
Search traffic is people actively typing what they want, so it converts best — and costs the most. The trick is to use the cheaper engines and the display side of the big ones.
Microsoft Ads (Bing)
Usually cheaper per click than Google for the same keyword, with an older, higher-income audience. Includes the Microsoft Audience Network.
Google Display & Demand Gen
Not the search results — the display and YouTube/Discover side, bought on CPM. Huge reach, needs placement exclusions.
7Search PPC
A second-tier search and text-ad network with very low minimum bids. Filter sources carefully.
AdRoll
Retargeting platform: re-show ads only to people who already visited. Small audience, cheap and warm.
Why it's worth it: intent traffic pairs perfectly with high-value payouts like insurance or home-services calls. If you're learning keyword research and landing-page basics from scratch, our Complete Digital Marketing Basics course covers search ads step by step.
3. Pop & redirect traffic — super cheap, needs heavy filtering
Pop-unders open your page in a new window behind the one the user is viewing. You pay for a view, not a click, which is why it's so cheap — and why quality varies wildly.
PopAds
One of the oldest pop-under networks; bid per 1,000 views from a very low starting deposit.
PopCash
Simple pop network with quick approvals; good for testing landing pages at volume.
PropellerAds
Large multi-format network (pop, push, in-page push) with auto-optimization for CPA goals.
Adsterra
Pop, social bar, native banners and direct links in one account; strong India and Asia inventory.
HilltopAds
Pop and video formats with competitive CPMs; popular with affiliates in Tier-2 countries.
Clickadu
Pop-under and in-page push network with granular source-level bidding.
4. Push notification traffic — cheap CPC, high CTR
Push ads appear as browser notifications to users who subscribed on some website. They look like personal messages, so click-through rates are high, but subscriber lists "burn out" fast.
RichAds (formerly RichPush)
Started as RichPush in 2018; now a multi-format network with push, pop, in-page and Telegram ads.
MegaPush
Push-focused network known for high CTR inventory and premium source lists.
AdMaven
Push, pop and banners from one dashboard; useful for comparing formats on the same offer.
Zeropark
Push, pop and domain-redirect traffic with rule-based auto-optimization; built for scaling.
Why push works: it reaches mobile users cheaply in almost every country. The skill that matters is writing a 40-character headline people tap — the same copywriting we practise daily in our paid digital marketing internship.
5. Social media ads — cheap when creative is strong
Social platforms don't sell intent — they sell attention. Costs drop sharply when your ad gets high engagement, so creative skill matters more than budget.
Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram)
Best targeting in the market. Reels placements are often the cheapest reach on Meta.
TikTok Ads
Very cheap CPMs for short video; not available in India, so use it for US, UK, Gulf and SE Asia offers.
Snapchat Ads
Young audience and low CPMs, strongest in the US and Gulf countries.
X Ads (Twitter)
Often cheaper CPC than Facebook for news, tech and crypto audiences.
Reddit Ads
Target by subreddit for sharp niche audiences; ads must feel native to the community.
Pinterest Ads
Low CPC for lifestyle, food, home and travel; pins keep driving clicks long after you pay.
Quora Ads
Target by question topic — strong in India and the US for education and finance offers.
Tip: creative is the lever. Learning to script and edit short video is free — our guide to the best digital marketing courses on YouTube lists the channels worth your time, and our Mastering ChatGPT course shows how to draft 20 ad variations in minutes.
6. Crypto ad networks — targeted, higher CPM
Mainstream platforms restrict crypto ads, so these specialist networks own that audience. They're not the cheapest per view, but the users are already interested.
Coinzilla
Banner, native and pop formats across crypto news sites and wallets.
Bitmedia
Crypto display network with interest and wallet-based targeting.
A-ADS
Anonymous, Bitcoin-paid ad network with no-KYC setup and tiny minimums.
Cointraffic
Premium crypto publisher inventory; higher price, cleaner audience.
7. Domain & direct buys — cheap, unpredictable
Domain (or "zero-click") traffic comes from people typing mistyped or expired domain names, which are then redirected to advertisers. Direct buys mean paying a website owner for a fixed banner slot.
DNTX
Domain-redirect traffic bought per visit, targeted by keyword and category.
BuySellAds
Marketplace to buy fixed placements on blogs, newsletters and developer sites.
The monetization side: where arbitrage earns
Cheap traffic only matters if something pays more than you spent. These are the common "sell" sides — they pay you; they don't sell traffic.
| Model | How you earn | Fits which traffic |
|---|---|---|
| Media.net / Google AdSense | Contextual ads on your content pages (per click or impression). | Native, search, social — never pop or push. |
| Tonic and similar RSOC feeds | Search-style result pages; you earn when users click a sponsored result. | Native and social, with publisher approval. |
| Affiliate / CPA networks | Fixed payout per sign-up, install or sale. | Pop, push, social — almost everything. |
| Pay-per-call | Paid per qualified phone call (insurance, home services, legal). | Search and social in the US, UK and Canada. |
| Your own email list | Capture the visitor once, earn from them for months. | Any — the cheapest long-term traffic is traffic you already own. |
That last row is the one most beginners skip. Turning paid clicks into subscribers is covered hands-on in our Email Marketing with Amazon SES & Sendy course, and you can build the capture form yourself with our Custom Google Form course or a full landing page from the WordPress Designing & Development course.
Rules that keep accounts alive
Read this before you spend a rupee. Most arbitrage accounts die from policy violations, not bad ROI.
- No AdSense on pop, push or redirect traffic. Google counts it as invalid traffic and can close the account and withhold earnings.
- Match headline to page. Native networks pause ads whose landing page doesn't deliver what the ad promised.
- No fake news or celebrity endorsements. Every major network bans them, and they can be illegal under India's consumer protection rules.
- Respect lead and call compliance. US lead-gen needs proper consent (TCPA); misleading forms get your traffic source and your buyer in trouble.
- Track everything. Use UTM tags plus GA4, or a tracker like Voluum or RedTrack, so you can cut losing placements daily.
How to test a new traffic source with ₹5,000
You don't need lakhs to learn arbitrage. You need a small budget, one offer and discipline about cutting losers.
- Pick one offer and one country. Don't test three things at once — you won't know what worked.
- Build one clean landing page that loads in under two seconds on mobile.
- Start on one network from the list (MGID or PropellerAds are forgiving for first tests) with a small daily cap.
- Run 3–5 ad creatives and let each get enough clicks to judge — not just 20.
- Block bad placements daily using source/zone IDs in your tracker.
- Calculate ROI = (Revenue − Spend) ÷ Spend. Scale only what stays positive for several days in a row.

FAQs
What is the cheapest traffic source for arbitrage?
Pop-under and push networks such as PopAds, Clickadu and RichAds are the cheapest per visit, especially in Tier-3 countries. They are also the lowest quality, so they suit CPA offers rather than ad-revenue sites.
Can I use AdSense for traffic arbitrage?
Only with clean sources such as native, search or social traffic that sends real readers to genuine content. Sending pop, push or redirect traffic to AdSense pages is treated as invalid traffic and commonly leads to account suspension.
Is traffic arbitrage legal in India?
Buying ads and earning from them is legal. What gets people into trouble is misleading ads, fake endorsements, or breaking the policies of the ad network or the monetization partner.
How much money do I need to start?
A first test can run on ₹3,000–5,000 on networks with low minimum deposits. Expect to lose part of it while learning — treat it as tuition and track every rupee.
Which traffic source is best for beginners?
A forgiving native network like MGID or Content.ad, or Meta Ads if you can make good creatives. They teach the full loop — creative, landing page, tracking — without the extreme fraud filtering pop traffic needs.
Where can I learn traffic arbitrage practically?
